Oh why Gilly? Why now?

You write a book to sell it. Not to keep the whole lot under your bed for the rest of your life. That is true. So what do you do? You market it. Give it some publicity. And create some contorvercy if possible. That'll make it sell like nude pics of Jessica Alba.

All that is fine. But there is - there should be - a limit, and you should know where to stop. Speaking shit just for the sake of selling a book is no good. Because alogn with the book you also sell your soul. Especially not for somebody like you, whom most people respected around the world.

But you have crossed the line.

After all those years of a great cricketing career, now you've gone and said Murali is a chucker. Oh come on Gilly, you're better than that.

You write crap like this in your book:
"When I heard that the rules would now allow degree of straightening - 15 degrees to be exact, a fraction more than Murali's straightening had been measured at - I thought 'That's a load of horse crap. That's rubbish."

Well, I didn't know you sucked that much at logic.
Let me explain.
Under the previous law, almost everybody chucked - including the so called purists like McGrath and Pollock. Yes, that's what the ICC found out when they did a survey. They were all bending their arms more than what was allowed. So what do you do? Either call them all chuckers (except for the small problem that there wouldn't be anybody to bowl in world cricket) or extend the previous limit to suit everyone. So, that is not changed to suit just Murali. That is to accomodate everyone, and why should only Murali be kept out.

You're being pathetic Gilly.
Horse crap is not what the ICC did, it is what's coming out of your mouth now.

I had a lot of respect for you, but I'm fast losing it.
And I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in this.

After all, you're not so much different from the fat ass Aussie motherfuckers who likes nothing but whinging when things don't go your way.

Shame on you...

  1. i agree with you completely on this...

but he wont even address it...more than his attacks in desperation to sell book...

i am getting concerned on this latest fad of demeaning defaming everybody in the name of 'autobiography'...

i think not even ozies are respecting him much after seeing his 'true colors'...no wonder his own team mates have 'walked' on him...
